Halloween Nails

Happy Saturday Guys & Ghouls!!!

For some reason I was feeling the Halloween spirit. I'm usually not big on the holiday, but I do enjoy the candy :-) Anyways, I wanted to try to do something in case some of you like to dress your nails up too! Here are just some cute little ghosts and a spider. I used Nicka K's Noir as the base for the ghosts. Then I applied a coat of Wet n' Wild's Trust Fund Baby from their Spoiled collection. This is a really pretty fall glitter polish. It has small colorful glitter hexagons. I'm gonna swatch this by itself tomorrow so you can get a good look at it. I used Sinful Colors Snow Me White for the ghosts. I made an outline of a ghost and just filled it in. Then I took the Noir with a dotting tool and applied it in a downward motion for the eyes, and added a large dot for the mouth. The base for the spider is NYCs In a New York Minute Moma. I made a large black dot first for the spider's head, then used a thin brush and sort of made an oval shape for the body, and filled it in. Then I used a thin brush to make the legs.

Are you dressing up for Halloween? If so, what are you wearing, will your nails match?

Sharing the Love-Halloween Giveaway!!!

Hey Loves!!! I hope you all had a good weekend. I've learned some really good lessons over the past few days. Most importantly, life is very short...you have to live for you and no one else! Rock out and enjoy it with love! I've been blogging now for a little more than two months. I'm so honored that you all check in with me and have enjoyed what I've been doing so far. In celebration of YOU, I want to do my second giveaway! Just in time for Halloween, I'm giving away the OPI So So Skullicious mini set with decals. I first heard about this set from the lovely  Nails Beautiqued . She did some amazing swatches of these four polishes and I just had to have them, you can check out her review here ! I ordered the set for $6.80 from Amazon, but then my sister gave me the same set yesterday as an early birthday present (October 22nd)! So, I'm sharing the love with you. Here's how its going down, lol. I will be using Rafflecopter to pick the winner. The give...

La Couleur Couture Nail Lacquer 1964 Hermes Orange

I ordered this polish through Hautelook last week sometime. I was interested in it because I haven't heard of this brand before, but then again, there are a lot of brands I still have yet to try! This brand is 3-free and vegan friendly. The price tag was a little pricey for me at $9.00, but it was discounted from what the price will normally be at $16, so I went for it. They had some pretty colors and I really couldn't decide which one to get. I like the way they name the colors, they are named after years. I opted for 1964. Hautelook called it 1964 Hermes Orange. It's a thick and creamy orange, the color reminds me of pumpkin pie, umm LOL. I fell in love with it surprisingly and am sure I will wear it a lot, it's a great orange for the fall. It applied very nicely, not streaky, here I used two coats.  I tried to capture the color in different light, but I'm not good at taking pics, sorry, lol. Hopefully, you can see it well. I'm not sure when and where it will...

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hey Lovelies!!! There are many things going on throughout the year to educate and raise awareness about breast cancer. Philadelphia held a Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in May and will hold a 3-day walk on October 5th-7th. However, October is designated as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there are some cool things going on in the blogosphere, where you can get involved and show your support. I posted last week about the  Beauty By Krystal  Cosmetics Donation Bin for Breast Cancer. She will be collecting donations up until the holidays. Check her out if you can! April, at Glitter Gloss Garbage is hosting 30 Days of Pink for the Cure challenge. Each day you can post a link of yourself wearing pink. It can be anything, makeup, clothing, or polish. You can post whenever you can, it doesn't have to be daily.  I'll be participating in this throughout the month. If you'd like to participate click on the picture below. Hope ...
