Personal Swatch Challenge-OPI & Revlon

Hey lovelies! I had to back-track with my personal challenge. I've finally gotten my onlyest OPI nail polish back from my sister, so now I can show you! I also completely forgot about Revlon :-( So, just to recap, I added the list I started out with. Now, keep in mind that this list has since grown, because I actually failed at not buying any new polishes a loooong time ago :-/ However, I have to finish what I started :-) I plan on updating this list with my newbies and posting it on a separate page in the near future. Also, I have some new things coming up. I'm so excited about them and can't wait to share, stay tuned :-)

OPI Pink-ing of You
This color is gorg!!! My mom had actually given this polish to me, so I'm not sure how much she paid for it. When I did a search the price was $5.55 on Amazon. This color is so exquisite. It's a creamy bubblegum pink, but not too bright. I applied two coats on my nails. The first coat was a little streaky but the polish evened out nicely with the second coat. This is a great color for work. It makes your hands look really pretty, with that fresh out of the salon feel!

OPI Pink-ing of You
Revlon Berry Delicious
This polish, along with the next one, are the result of finding a good sale. I got these polishes for 75% off. Which came to about $1.50. Berry Delicious is a pretty shimmer, sheer (almost want to say jelly)polish with pink and purple tones. It goes on very nicely, but you'll need two coats. I forgot to clean my cuticle here:-(

Revlon Berry Delicious
Revlon Cherry Berry
This is one of those shades of reds that isn't too deep. I feel like it used to be a hot pink in it's former life (umm, yeah sleepy). Anyways, its gorgeous. It looks a lot better on than in the bottle. I also like the way this looks on my hands. I could have gotten away with one coat, but I applied two here.

Do you like any of these, or am I just sleepy and exaggerating?  ;-)

Sharing the Love-Halloween Giveaway!!!

Hey Loves!!! I hope you all had a good weekend. I've learned some really good lessons over the past few days. Most importantly, life is very short...you have to live for you and no one else! Rock out and enjoy it with love! I've been blogging now for a little more than two months. I'm so honored that you all check in with me and have enjoyed what I've been doing so far. In celebration of YOU, I want to do my second giveaway! Just in time for Halloween, I'm giving away the OPI So So Skullicious mini set with decals. I first heard about this set from the lovely  Nails Beautiqued . She did some amazing swatches of these four polishes and I just had to have them, you can check out her review here ! I ordered the set for $6.80 from Amazon, but then my sister gave me the same set yesterday as an early birthday present (October 22nd)! So, I'm sharing the love with you. Here's how its going down, lol. I will be using Rafflecopter to pick the winner. The give...

La Couleur Couture Nail Lacquer 1964 Hermes Orange

I ordered this polish through Hautelook last week sometime. I was interested in it because I haven't heard of this brand before, but then again, there are a lot of brands I still have yet to try! This brand is 3-free and vegan friendly. The price tag was a little pricey for me at $9.00, but it was discounted from what the price will normally be at $16, so I went for it. They had some pretty colors and I really couldn't decide which one to get. I like the way they name the colors, they are named after years. I opted for 1964. Hautelook called it 1964 Hermes Orange. It's a thick and creamy orange, the color reminds me of pumpkin pie, umm LOL. I fell in love with it surprisingly and am sure I will wear it a lot, it's a great orange for the fall. It applied very nicely, not streaky, here I used two coats.  I tried to capture the color in different light, but I'm not good at taking pics, sorry, lol. Hopefully, you can see it well. I'm not sure when and where it will...

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hey Lovelies!!! There are many things going on throughout the year to educate and raise awareness about breast cancer. Philadelphia held a Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in May and will hold a 3-day walk on October 5th-7th. However, October is designated as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there are some cool things going on in the blogosphere, where you can get involved and show your support. I posted last week about the  Beauty By Krystal  Cosmetics Donation Bin for Breast Cancer. She will be collecting donations up until the holidays. Check her out if you can! April, at Glitter Gloss Garbage is hosting 30 Days of Pink for the Cure challenge. Each day you can post a link of yourself wearing pink. It can be anything, makeup, clothing, or polish. You can post whenever you can, it doesn't have to be daily.  I'll be participating in this throughout the month. If you'd like to participate click on the picture below. Hope ...
